Welcome to Calvary United Methodist Church
Who We Are
As a church that has been in the community for over 100 years, we've seen many changes and have weathered many storms, but our goal to be a beacon of light and kindness and always provide a helping hand to those in need has stayed true. The core of our efforts is to bring aid to those in need and be a constant example of God's work in our community through our words and actions. Whether you support us by occupying a pew on Sunday mornings or by helping us achieve our missions throughout the community, we welcome you to our small but mighty family.
Activities
Calvary United Methodist Church is always striving to achieve more with our initiatives. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we work every day to promote positive change.
Volunteer Opportunities
With this initiative, our goal is to provide people the great opportunities to help those in need. While Calvary has many opportunities for volunteering that pop up throughout the year, our recurring volunteer opportunities include: helping with our monthly community meal and helping our mission to feed the homeless population in Cleveland with Trials for Hope. Please reach out if you'd like to help!
Fundraising
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to do all we can to provide for those in need! Throughout the year, we have many many fundraising opportunities: from Healing Arts Mission, which helps artists in Haiti, to our Toiletries Pantry, which provides necessities to members of our community in need, please reach out to us if you'd like to help!
Youth Group Programs
*On the first and third Friday of every month, our Calvary Youth Group provides a night dedicated to youth of all ages. Consider this less of a theology lesson and more of a fun and safe place to hang out with friends. Hide and seek, Nintendo Switch, snacks and more!
*Youth Group is not currently meeting. We hope to resume soon!
